This teapot is made with Tokoname ware and comes with a stainless-steel fine mesh tea strainer. Suitable for brewing Fukamushicha, or deep steamed green tea.
Tokoname is one of the six oldest kilns in Japan, located on the west coast of Chita Peninsula, in Aichi Prefecture. It has a long history in pottery making spanning a thousand years.
