Grass Jelly Mix (sugar free)
Grass jelly, also known as leaf jelly or herb jelly, is a jelly-like dessert popular in Asia.
Traditionally grass jelly is served with sugar syrup. Modern versions of this relatively plain dessert include serving with ice cream, sweet potato and taro balls, red bean, tofu pudding (or Chinese douhua), fruits to name a few.
To make grass jelly, simply add one part of grass jelly mix to 12 parts of boiling water. Mix till dissolved and chill for one hour till set then serve.
To make grass jelly drink, add one part of grass jelly mix to 15 parts of boiling water. Mix till dissolved. Serve hot with *red beans, *peanuts etc.
