Taiwanese Taro Ball Mix
Using only natural ingredients, these products are processed using traditional methods, in hopes of bringing back the hometown flavor of Taiwan.
Similar to sweet potato balls, this version is made with taro. Because fresh taro is first steamed and then dried and ground into powder before combining with tapioca and sweet potato starch, the taro flavor is a lot more pronounced than store bought taro balls. The soft chewy texture combined with fresh taro is simply a taro lovers’ delight.
With this product you can make at home the traditional Taiwanese sweet potato and taro ball dessert. You can serve it plain with *winter melon sugar, ice cream or you can add *red beans, *peanuts, *barley, *grass jelly and *tofu pudding to replicate the dessert you normally get in Taipei night markets.
