Funew Glass Serving Plate

Funew tableware upcycles wine and champagne bottles of wine and champagne bottles which would have been discarded otherwise. The company collaborates with several glass companies in Tokyo to source, treat and recycle the collected bottles, which are heated to around 750 degrees for more than 24 hours to transform them into the desired shape. This process requires only one-third of the temperature normally used in conventional glass recycling thus helps to reduce CO2 emission in Tokyo.
