Edo Glass w/ Gold Leaf (Earth)

This is an excellent product made by the Edo glass manufacturing method, which has been designated by the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry as a national traditional craft.

Edo glass is a glass product made by winding glass onto a pole by hand, a process that has been handed down from generation to generation in the old Edo region.

The notion of "earth" (below) is vividly expressed in gold leaf on the glass.
